Creative Clubs
Our Creative Clubs for K-6 students offer a fun and engaging way to explore a variety of exciting topics. Students get to choose from an array of activities that inspire imagination and creativity. Some examples include; Robotics, pottery, Auslan and music

Brain Strain Academic Challenge
A team of Stage 1 students compete against other school teams from across our region. Students test their English skills, Mathematics knowledge, ability to problem solve and work collaboratively. What a brain straining day of fun!

HPGE Camden Challenge Cup
Stage 3 students participate in a challenge against teams from across Camden/Macarthur. Students are required to think creatively and collaborate effectively in order to solve a range of brain-bending tasks.

Premier's Spelling Bee
The Premier's Spelling Bee is a statewide competition that encourages students to develop their spelling and vocabulary skills. It aims to foster a love of language and boost students' confidence in their spelling abilities across New South Wales schools.

Maths Off
Our annual 'Maths Off' competition is designed to enhance students' computational skills by challenging them with a variety of problem-solving tasks and numerical exercises. It encourages quick thinking, accuracy and a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts in a fun and competitive environment.

K-6 Public Speaking Competition
The public speaking competition for K-6 students provides an opportunity to showcase their skills through both a prepared speech and an impromptu speaking challenge. This event helps build confidence, creativity and effective communication abilities in young learners.

Premier's Debating Challenge
The Premier's Debating Challenge aims to develop the reasoning and public speaking skills of students from Years 5 and 6.

Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition
The Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition encourages students to explore ideas of multiculturalism in Australia while they improving their public speaking skills.

Mayor for a Day
The Camden Council Mayor for a Day competition gives students a unique opportunity to experience local government leadership by taking on the role of mayor and contributing ideas for their community.

PSSA Gala Days
PSSA Gala Days aim to provide students with the opportunity to participate in a variety of team sports in a fun and inclusive environment. They promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical activity while allowing students to develop new skills and enjoy friendly competition.

Sport Knockout Competitions
School sport knockout competitions are designed to provide students with the chance to compete against other schools in a structured elimination format. These competitions foster teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship while encouraging students to strive for excellence in their chosen sports.

Opportunities to represent at Zone, Sydney South West and State level
Students from our school proudly represent us in sport at zone, regional, and state levels, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship. These opportunities allow them to compete against peers from across the state while developing teamwork, resilience and school pride.

Arts Alive Film Making Festival
The Arts Alive Film Festival celebrates the creativity and storytelling talents of students through the medium of film. It provides a platform for young filmmakers to showcase their work, develop their artistic skills, and engage with the wider community.

Southern Stars
Southern Stars is a vibrant performing arts event that showcases the talents of school choirs, orchestras and dance groups from across the region. It provides students with a unique opportunity to collaborate, perform on a professional stage and celebrate their passion for music and dance.

Dance Group
The school dance group exemplifies dedication, discipline, and artistic excellence, consistently delivering captivating performances that reflect the commitment and collaborative spirit of our students.

Drama Club
The drama club provides students with a supportive environment to explore their creativity and develop their theatrical skills.
Cheer Group
Our school cheer group focuses on practicing and developing cheerleading skills such choreography. It provides students with a supportive environment to build strength, coordination and teamwork through regular training sessions.

School Band and Guitar Ensemble
Our school band offers students the opportunity to learn and perform music together, enhancing their instrumental skills and musical knowledge. It fosters teamwork, discipline and creativity while allowing students to showcase their skills at school events.

Participation in Art Competitions
Participating in art competitions, both in school and out of school, allows students to express their creativity and showcase their artistic talents to a wider audience. It encourages skill development, confidence and an appreciation for different art styles and techniques.

Glee Club
Our school Glee Club brings students together to sing and harmonise, helping them develop vocal skills and musical understanding. It fosters a sense of community, teamwork, and confidence through regular rehearsals and performances.

Leadership Opportunities K-6
At our school, we offer student leadership opportunities for K-6 students to help them develop responsibility, confidence, and teamwork through roles like class leaders, house captains and school leaders. These programs encourage our students to actively contribute to the school community while building essential communication and decision-making skills.

Junior AECG
The Junior AECG (Aboriginal Education Consultative Group) empowers young Aboriginal students to have a voice in their education and community by promoting leadership, cultural awareness, and advocacy.

Connections with Mount Annan High School
Our school partners with Mount Annan High School to provide Stage 3 students with extension maths opportunities, enhancing their learning and challenging their mathematical skills.

High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) is how our school supports students with advanced learning needs.
